WIP Wednesday

Wow, it must be months since I posted a Work In Progress Wednesday post, hopefully I'll be getting back into the swing of it soon :)

WIP Wednesday at Freshly Pieced

I have two WIP's that I've been working on this week.  The first is my New York Beauty quilt.  My design requires 38 blocks & my deadline is May (not sure the date).  I may have to re-think my design as time goes on.

The second is a Log Cabin commission quilt that I'm working on, the final size will be for a double bed & at the moment I have quite a few blocks that are coming on nicely.  The log cabin has been growing quite quickly as I've been using the "washing line" method :)

I'm linking this post up with the WIP Wednesday over at Freshley Pieced so don't forget to pop over there & check out some other WIP's from some lovely people.

Happy stitching :)

  1. Great fabric for your NYB! I have abandoned mine for the time being!

  2. These are beautiful. I haven't attempted curves in my quilting yet. I am very afraid of it, am still very new to sewing. Your blocks make it look easy, though I know it is not.

  4. They both look great! New York Beauty seems to be all the rage and I can see why.
