The last couple of weeks I've been working on the Log Cabin quilt. This is the commission quilt I'm making using the lovely Pom Pom De Paris range of fabrics by French General for Moda. With the twins no longer at nursery my sewing time is quite limited so anything I can get done is a bonus.
This week I completed the log cabin blocks & with the assistance of friend Franney we managed to find a layout that I liked. The blocks were all sewn together & here is the result:
I just have the borders to add now & that will be the top complete. Not sure exactly when that will happen but I'll let you know when it does.
Just in case you want to see more of what can be achieved with this lovely fabric you can pop over to Franney Makes facebook page where she's just posted pictures of a lovely Kindle Cosy.
Happy stitching :)

I-Spy Quilt
This week I completed the i-spy quilt that I've been working on. Friday I took it to the twins nursery & handed it over as a gift for them from Hannah & Robert. All were pleased with it & shocked that a) I'd made it myself & b) that I could bare to part with it.
I hope future children at the nursery will have fun with it.

New Stash :)
Thought i'd share with you the latest additions to my fabric stash (like I need anymore!!!). I picked up this lovely lot at the Sandown Quilt Championships, I thought I was quite restrained myself :)
Hopefully, in the not too distant future, you may see some projects made out of some of these lovely fabrics.
Happy stitching :)
A bargain pack of pretty FQ's & some lovely pink & lilac ric-rac.
Already have projects lined up for these.
A lovely FQ bundle of Vintage Summer
Some plain pink & border prints from the Pom Pom De Paris fabric range
These are to go with a quilt that's already a WIP
Joy of joy, a lovely layer cake & 2 x charm packs from my favourite fabric designer, Kate Spain
Hopefully, in the not too distant future, you may see some projects made out of some of these lovely fabrics.
Happy stitching :)
