Hat Number 3 & Some Stitching :-)

Evening all.
Well today was the day, it was our Race For Life & this the part where I get to show you Hat Number 3 that was puchased this week. Here it is:

Isn't it the most wonderful sequined pink sunvisor ever??? They were a whole £2 from Primark & I was well impressed with my bargain puchase. In case you were wondering I'm in pink, number 243. From left to right is 244 Lyn Moore (Cousin & Godmummy), 245 is Tia Moore (Cousin & Goddaughter) & 246 Joanna Fowler (Bestest Mate). Here we are at the end of the race wearing our medals with pride. It was really hot, a whopping 26 degrees so not really that great for jogging so we did a mixture of walking & jogging & finished with a time of 55 minutes. Now for the stitching update. I took with me a little Lizzie*Kate design that I started a couple of months back. It was one of my 4 week rotation peices but since I got into the quilting as well my stitching rotation appears to have gone to pot! Quite fittingly the design is called Peace, Love & A Cure. It was one that I bought at Ally Pally last October & the colours are lovely. I think I have the last progress picture on the right side bar at the moment as a folder cover so you can see how much I managed to get done in the car on the way too & from the Race For Life. I'm quite pleased, hopefully I'll get it back in the rotation & finished up.

Walk of Life

Our babies are in the midst of a massive transition, they are currently moving from baby to toddler... yikes!!!

Hannah has started walking now & is so funny, it's like watching a little drunk stumble across the lounge floor on route to either mummy or daddy. Robert has been paying very close attention the last few days & is now making his own attempts, which are proving even more amusing.

Today we visited the shops with some fabulous friends & one of my purchases is the Little Life Daysack. Hannah has a pink one & Robert has a blue one... surprise..surprise!! They are brilliant & we even saw two people using them while we were at the shops. I can't wait to start using them with the twins :-)

I have recently posted on Facebook two very short clips of the twins. One of them when they were playing with their birthday balloons back in May & the other one of Hannah taking her first proper steps. Both are funny & I'm so pleased that I am lucky enough to have these clips to look back on.

Thats me done for now... back to Facebook for a couple of games & updates before bed. xx

Retail Therapy :-)

Today we went out for a little drive & whilst out picked up these snazzy little outfits from Sainsbury's. Never really looked at clothes in there before but we had seen them a couple of weeks ago & both liked them so before heading to the car we purchased :-) It's the first items that we've bought that are specifically geared towards a little boy & a little girl but seriously I doubt at this point I'll be buying anything else like that, not until they are born anyway. I am yet to believe the sexes of the babies until they are actually with us!!!
Our other purchase took us to the Mamas & Papas store, one each of the softest most toy you've ever come across in your life, they were ridiculously expensive but I don't care cause they're lovely & cuddly. I just hope the twins like them too, although for the first year of their lives they won't have a choice.... I'll be telling them that they love them :-)

Apart from washing some more of the baby blankets & towels most of my afternoon has been spent playing with Facebook... what a joy that turned out not to be... it appears a high maintainence thing... sure I'll get used to it after a while.

Time to sit with my feet up & watch some TV/DVD's, my feet are so swollen now that my ankles appear to have disappeared completely.
